Spent my whole day planning my Scratch video series, and it’s now time for me to screenshot and record the audio!
If you read yesterday’s post, you’ll know that I had a basic plan.
How long are those videos?
So far, I have 6 or 7 videos planned, some of which may be reunited in the same video OR split into 2 shorter videos. I like to make them bite-size, as I hate 25 minutes long videos! I usually lose focus. During the short period of time where I was a teacher, I found out that it was better to keep them under 6 minutes. My classroom was partially flipped, which meant that the students (15-years-old) had to watch a video at home, take notes, and we’d take the hour to have actual work done in the classroom, instead of trying to keep their focus for 75 minutes in class, and then sending them home with homework, when they might not have all the knowledge to do it without my or their peers’ help. For more info, try googling or pinteresting “flipped classroom”!
I bullet-pointed my ideas and will be recording tomorrow (on Sunday).
